Roof, it's always worth doing the Everyman in the Observer on Sunday as well, usually fairly easy, and it's available on the Grauniad website.

Thanks PS, but I'm not sure I'd find the time. I'm prepared to give up one day a week, but not two. Anyway, we cancelled the Observer a year or so back. I couldn't cope with all those supplements. I may have to try it on-line.

I grew Echiums from seeds I brought back from Scilly a few years ago.
I gave my neighbour a plant and now he has lots in his Devon garden!
They seed everywhere but pull out easily if you don't want them.
