HI Abicoop,

22d - Is a homophone of a "cockney" pronunciation of what someone does if they want to be "nowhere to be seen" - definition is "time of putsch" and is connected to 26a.

23a - Definition is "slap" (a term used for make up, especially in the theatre) "on the lid".
