26a will be immediately obvious to anyone who remembers 5d's performance in a rather topically named film...

... I can see two of his other roles hidden in the clues, I’m sure there must be more

thanks to justsolve's hint i've got 19 and 26 (but my point about 20a remains!)
i've also got 10a and an unparsed 7d. the latter isn't an indirect anagram, is it? i can't find any letters just to put in front of my answer.

Chris, 20a is an anagram having switched one letter for another. The definition is also the fodder.
I’m also stuck on 7d

Thanks jono
20 is really not a very fair clue - there's a convention that obscure words should be clearly clued. I have found another source that gives it as the person as well as the tripe, though.
Finally got my last two, and parsed them. Just 7d left to dexplain...

I have 7d. You need to remove two letters from a word that means excites

is " front of" fair for first 2 letters in 3d?

loi, 25a, became favourite

I agree ‘front of’ is vague in 3d. I do like 25a especially given the theme-related reference ;)

Another PDM, the relationship between 1a and 26a!
