I enjoyed this (especially 17a, as Brendan guessed), but I haven't fully parsed 12a, 1d and 3d. Favourite 7d.

Not entirely happy with 21d - "Knocked back" would work better in an across clue.

12a is essentially a DD.
1d: popular brand abbreviation following synonym for minute.
3d: mixed up ‘in bar’.

Quite tough to start today but then flew. 12D new to me. 11A seems strange, a straightforward clue unless I am missing something - the only cryptic part seems to be the possibly double-serving block?

Thanks mathi. I took "minute" as one letter rather than two.

12a is odd. I agree with cymro (if he meant 12 rather than the nonexistent 11a!) that it is just the same definition twice.

I had 12a as an envelope and &Lit(ish). One + w(with) inside a word for delaying.

I need a hint on 5D... I have T?E?W?N?O
All else is solved and, I agree, this was a tad harder than the norm

Hi Pogle, it’s a reversal, hidden in the clue...
