Thanks Brendan. I’d spent so long trying to think of every different type and synonym of court order that I couldn’t see it.

I know what you mean Matador, sometimes one can't see the "wood" for the trees - I'm on fire today:-)

This looked impossible at first, but actually went in surprisingly easily though. 24a was brilliant, and 15d pretty good.

One I'm not sure about:
3d - I understand the homophone bit, but not the actual grid entry (unless it's a reference to Shetland, for example - though that would need a bit more in the clue to be fair).

Thanks zozozo. I didn't know it was a general term for insomnia. I had come across the term in an Ann Cleeves novel, set on Shetland, referring to the difficulty of sleeping when it never really goes dark (in June especially).

This was a fun solve and some brilliant little clues in there.

15d and 24a are those gems with really fun "a ha!" moments after you finally parse them.

Thanks Brendan, I always read the threads even if I don't contribute!

great puzzle, yet to fully parse 19d, 21a and 3d (despite the clue below I can't see the homonym) any help?

and still to get 22d and 29a, but I'm sure they'll come
