I thought that might happen, but hoped a 'copy and paste' of the link might work.

I saw the solution in this week's paper and it did look pretty bland, but I try to add as much colour as possible to all my solutions.

Brendan, I didn't mind your enjoyment of the colouring-in - it was the initial enthusiasm that had me worried that I'd missed something! Today's EV won't require any special effects.

I'm way behind everyone else with this. Hints please (massive ones!) for 10d and 25a. Hopefully that will get me going again.

Also, can i just check that the unclued entry at the bottom is a coin given to Judas.

Brendan, it's a coin, I can't remember much more.

10 D. I'd think of it as two words. It's a military parade.

25 Just a drink, posher than Harvey's... With a letter in front, it'd mean sadness ( foreign word, but quite commonly known)

Thanks Malone.

Can't find any words in Chambers that match 7d, I've got LAPT?V (assume it's Laptev but can't parse it)

Also, 18a I have ELE then a blank cell then IN - is that right?

Big hints please for last three - 21d, 31a and 32d.

Brendan, 7 D works if you change the last letter in the clue.

18 A. There are originally two blanks at the start of 18 A, then LE?IN (I gave a big hint for that earlier.

21 An anagram of 'petty cash', minus a letter. Symbolized is the definition.

31 A Misprint in the first word of the clue, should be M.

Thanks Malone.

For 7d I got the V from 20a ( a French word meaning "before") and Chambers doesn't help here.

31a I assume the "pop" is a well known soft drink but is the 3rd letter C or L (I haven't got the 1st or 3rd letter of 32d)

18a Is he the famous Russian leader? Why "priest"?

31 Mona, monkey, I didn't parse.

18 Levi, priest (I don't know much Biblical stuff, but that's probably where it came from) +N(earing). It's defined in CHambers.

7 Laptev, sea. Pal, friend+ Vet, treat, reversed.

32 Nesh, it can mean 'tender'. Sen, currency, turning/reversed +H, hot.
