Good morning, Malone. There is a Welsh alternative with an "a" which might flow "historically"? Otherwise, I can't see what "historic" is doing in the clue.
The reason for the lack of preamble should become clear when you see what has happened to some of the clues and some answers. The absence of a preamble is a cryptic indicator.
I have been sent a copy of this but there is a blank space beneath the compiler 's name where I presume the preamble should be. Please can some kind soul post what the instructions are.
