Many thanks bunty and malone.

I was thinking we were meant to add ie to the end of 21a, giving a nickname for the Inquisitor.

Error of ways now seen.

All completed, but wondering if the unclued light, should be thematic and missed out
It would still leave real words.

'Abandoning', in the sense of marooning.
You're right about the N - it's the I that goes for the entry - and only 1 word, not 2 (my mistake).
