Thanks tonynannini, that confirms mine. How many cells in the 14a? I only have 5 but think I need 8?

I must assume from what has been said above that the fact sinuous rills appear in the grid is coincidental?

It’s not in Chambers but 14a starts at the B and ends at A

I have finished with a common theme to the six other features, but I cannot understand the entry at 28Ac (which does not seem to be verifiable in this spelling on the internet) or the wordplay for 39a (which presumably omits an Australian or Scots word for WOOL, since the word is not redundant). So I am not very happy about this, although I am certainly highlighting 40 cells.

I agree re 28. I can see wordplay but couldn’t confirm spelling.

39a would make more sense if the answer was Wallars. You would then have had wallaroos less oo (Scots for wool).

Can’t see how you get to the correct answer from wordplay. Perhaps a cleverer solver than us can explain.

Take= r + oo for the wool , away from = subtraction indicator. Thus , Walla(roo)s.
