I've almost finished this stinker of a puzzle.

I have what I assume to be a female's first name at 10A, linked, I assume, to 6A, but I can't work out the superfluous word that links the two of them. Any hints would be appreciated.

Never mind: I was looking at the wrong clue for a superfluous word.
