Very hard luck not to make it out with only one week left...I have one cell left unfilled, the unch of 35 : it's part of a strange word...but other things to do now.

That clue has a misprint in the definition.

I have the two authors- and their swapping cells - but have no idea of the other works referred to in the later work. Lots of grid staring to no avail so far.

Yes, by my calculations the correction is I...

To get the other 2 works, visit the wikipedia page for the work provided by the corrections to the down clues. Towards the bottom of the page it lists all the works by the first creator which are incorporated in the work by the second creator. The cells to be highlighted are all in rows; 2 are of 7 letters each, 1 is 12 letters.

In these parts, if somebody is being nosey, they are invited to keep their neb out.

Just looking for 19 cells left to highlight.

Thanks BC. I know 'neb' but for some reason identified 'I' as the correction. Once I used 'E' as the correction, the clue became a little easier.

I think I've found the three works but I'm not entirely sure about one of them. Tough endgame but a clever and timely puzzle.

Hi Planks. The other 2 are : 6,3,6,5 and 3,4,3 - not all of those words are cryptically represented in the grid, since two of the words serve as anagram indicators. One word is a synonym.

Thanks meursault, I hadn't twigged the anagram indicators. All done then!

Finally finished. I thought this was extremely difficult at first, but easier towards the end. The highlighting took some time to spot. By the small number of posts, others must have found it hard too.
So, thanks Dysart.
