I have a complete grid and three of the four thematically linked items. The three I have start with C, D and H. Would someone please give me the first letter of the fourth item?

I suspect I am the only one struggling with this given the lack of posts. I still need three answers ( 29 across - Trap a lot of deer, possibly (7):39 across - Pet budgie ultimately undone by daughter's cat (5): 33 down - Nick Clegg's back with old ISP (4) ) and that is the least of my problems. Despite having answers for the other 42 clues I have still to get the extra letters needed in some of the definitions. I think the three I still need all require letters adding to the definition. My first thought was the theme was a song from "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" but that is no more than a blind guess. Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I will go back to it now before the postman arrives with my latest batch of work.

39 Dodge,can't remember how I got it but it's definitely correct!
I didn't bother with the added letters,only because I didn't need them.

...33 D is AOL, old ISP,with the G from the end of Clegg.

I can't remember 29 A- what letters do you have?

29 is "predate" in the original grid. Anagram of "trap" and "dee". I think "trap" is a bit loose; Chambers gives "to eat, prey upon" for "predate"

39 has missing letters i.e. cHEat = dodge
