I'm at the same stage as you, Orson. I presume the decoded message is referring to the lines in the verse and not the grid, if you see what I mean ? There's clearly a famous poet, so I'm guessing it's one of his. Best I can come up with for now is his set of poems that reference the name used to decode the message.

Yes it is one of those that is referred to by the verse.. Find the other arm of the cross.

No, muraria. Do what the decoded message says - find the necessary lines of the poem and then "every" is the key word. What is left will make sense of the puzzle's title.
