28d pi (religious) war (with w as extra) in reverse or repulsed
25d Brian (as in Life of- there is a song he's a very naughty boy) cut down- missing last letter. The B at the beginning is an extra letter.

I have a full grid but a couple of clashes. I'm not sure if I'm missing a thematic or my answers are slightly wrong

For 41a I have two possible answers. One beginning with S and one beginning with N. The N answer appears to parse better but leads to a clash with the last letter of 33D.

For 19A I have an answer but it clashes with the last letter of 8D. I also cannot parse this one at all.

Can anyone suggest where I may have gone wrong?

41a the s answer ... anagram of odd letters of seemed male + a

19a thematic - original answer is kirpan - a dagger - dagger is the symbol of St Kilian

41a. S is correct. Harry (as in hassle/annoy) is the anagram indicator of odd letters of seemed (SEE) and MALE to give the arabic name with E as extra letter
19a. Do you mean the thematic entry? 8d is a source of poison. Rector (R) taken away from in the countryside (R)ural with oi (pay attention) added, giving extra letter O
