27 A is thematic - I had that sorted before putting in 14 D, so I forgot about the original clash.

My answer to 9 D could well be wrong, so I won't pass it on. I have a 3,8 answer.

I've just got 9d I think. Collapsed = sank (nearly) + anagram of "vall roads" (2/3 of valley), with an extra letter L in there.

I am completely stuck in NE corner if I could have some help with these please:
15a Point of view according to key socialists in revolution (5) I have T as the last letter (O is the extra letter I think!)

17a At one time, rate influential person out of University College (4) CA?? (extra letter is S)

19a Doctor cut by Agatha Little's knife (6) K????N (extra letter is I)

The DOM part of 26d is DORM (with R extra) which is short for DORMITORY = a small town.

Kirky, an influential person is a success (17a). Can't help with the others yet, I'm afraid.

15 A. I've got Slant, point of view. (Parsing isn't my strong point, so I won't try.)

Getting 1a would be nice:

Also, for the extra letters, it starts with a 5-letter then a 2-letter word (it seems) but then I have S??N?H (followed by a T) and nothing sensible seems to fit there. Have I made any mistakes? Thanks.

I meant ??I?PH for 1a.
