I must be being very slow, but the 'typical ending' that came to mind would require 9 letters of row 9 rather than 7. I may have to resort to searching lists of obscure american deli products!

Ozzy - not sure if you are getting right info - the item in row 9 IS in Chambers (or at least both of the editions I possess - 11th/2008 and 12th/2011), however it is listed not on it's own but as a word based on the first instance of the word from which it is derived. It is also listed in my (2012) Bradford.
