Thanks very much . I thought I had tried every possible variation to express sailor but obviously not RM.

42 - COMB JELLY

40 - DOVER SOLE = DOLE around VERSO (the first page of a pair in a book also known in printing as a maiden)

Seamus - I am lost in admiration of your knowledge. I have never heard of comb jellies nor the other meaning of maidens.

64. Initials of king e.g ER for Queen Elizabeth and a group that Thatcher wouldn't take any nonsense from.
