Hello, Elle!
I'll look in on Kyrgios then.
Le Tour is going to Cherbourg.
Been no rain here for days.
Unlike Wimbledon!
Yes, I would think most athletes will be trying to peak for the Olympics rather than the Euro Champs.
Would it be in Jess Ennis' plans?
Stepanova has been told she can compete as a "neutral" at the Olympics, but some committee has to sanction it.
Not long now!

Hi elle
Usain Bolt is now doubtful as he has an injured hamstring and various others are saying the Zika virus is putting them.Heard from my friend in Suffolk that one of the Peregrine chicks was found badly hurt and starving,it seems he fell from the tower when they all started to fly,he is being looked after but the vet said it will take months to get him ready for release.Read several animals in the First and Second world wars some tragic but others who lived and had a long life.

Good morning, Rusty!
Yet another lovely day here - blue sky, sunshine and warm (ish) at 8am!
Let us hope it doesn't rain in Wimbledon today!
I think I read somewhere that Jess is not competing in the European Championships, but 'saving' herself for Rio?
but I could have this wrong?
Yes, I've heard about Stepanova.
She is apparently the first Russian athlete to pass the "exceptional eligibility" guidelines under Competition rule 22.1A (whatever that may be?)
So she will be allowed to compete in the Games as a "neutral".
So this is what happens when first she takes drugs herself, then for a "Get out of Jail Free" card , she blows the whistle on the whole setup!
Ummm!
I wonder how many more Russians will "get in" under those guidelines?
(You were right in saying that the powers-that-be would find a way around the situation!)
What time does the tennis start ? I haven't even checked it out yet?

Hi, Doglet!
I hadn't heard about Usain Bolt's injury.
I can well understand the athlete' reservations about the Zika virus.
Jess Ennis-Hill has said that she will compete, but not stay in the Athletes' village but fly in just for her event.
I guess it's 'halfway' round the problem.
Will you be watching "People's Sunday"?

Good morning, Elle!
Stepanova has been okayed by one organisation but has to get clearance from another organisation, too!
Yes, there will be a fudge.
Not heard anything from Dick Pound for a wee while.
And are the Kenyans etc getting to compete?
And...BBC is showing a documentary about Miss Panic Room tonight!
I think the ballboys and girls at Wimbledon are absolutely splendid!
Weather is cloudy here and rain would not surprise me.
I would agree with Jess skipping the Euros.
I just find it odd they are so close to the Olympics.

Good afternoon, Rusty!
All I've heard is that, although Kenya is on a monitoring list for doping until the end of the year, the Kenyan athletes will still be allowed to compete throughout the monitoring process.
Unless the IOC intervenes - which seems unlikely!
More fudge!
I'm wondering just how much coverage the BBC will give to the Games?
I have tennis on at the moment - but nothing particular to report.
However, your man Nick Kyrgios will be on Court One, after this match that I am now watching.
Incidentally, don' t you think that Kyrgios has a shocking deportment problem? He is incredibly round-shouldered?
One would think it would somehow impede his game?
I find it surprising in a tennis player of his calibre.
So are you going to watch Serena tonight? I don't think I could stand the stress!

Elle, I have had similar thoughts about Kyrgios when he's slouching around - it just doesn't look right on someone who is so athletic, agile and so on. I'm also concerned about his 'other' deportment - his behaviour. He's had two well-deserved fines in his first two matches at Wimbledon - I thought he might have matured since last year!

Good afternoon, Elle!
I am not very keen on Kyrgios.
He can be ill mannered I have noticed.
Not a gentleman like Roger Federer.
I have not noticed his shoulders.
Spain, Kenya, Ethiopia, Jamaica, are all countries that do not meet WADA's standards, as well as Russia.
Yes, there will be fudges.
I think BBC will have a good coverage of the Games.
Several years ago Germany refused to take TV coverage of the Tour de France because of the doping.
A strong stance and I entirely agree with what they did.
I have le Tour on now.
Rain in France, wet roads and crashes already.
I shall give Miss Panic Room a miss!
May watch a bit of the football.

Hi, Rusty!
We've just been out for a walk - very hot now......no need for a cardigan or jacket.
A glorious day!
No-one is a gentleman like Roger!
No, I am not impressed with Kyrgios' manners - as Malone remarked , his deportment is lacking in yet another direction than the rounded shoulders!
Maybe it would be worth losing your bet, to see him lose??
There was another strange incident concerning him yesterday - I forgot to tell you about it.
He called "injury time" for a stuffy nose! The umpire seemed puzzled and Kyrgios appeared to blame the air in our country!
The commentators thought it a hoot! (sorry about the pun!)
At the moment, he seems to be winning.....
Are you not enjoying the cycling? you mention transferring to football.......

Hello, Elle,
The cycling has just under an hour to Cherbourg.
Football is this evening.
Och, I do not worry about my bet on Kyrgios, mind you if he got to the final I would cheer him!
Lucie is doing away fine, too.
And I have taken Peter Sagan to win at Cherbourg.
All, just for fun.
I do not know about "injury time" in tennis, or how it works.
In cycling you get patched up quickly and put back on the bike, broken bones or no!
No messing about in le Tour!
But, if he is round shouldered, will he be breathing properly?
Maybe his lungs are not expanding properly?
Think I may record Serena!
