We are getting a lot of rain!
My husband went out to our local Sainsburys just down the road, and has just come back very wet - and bearing gifts of flowers for me for my birthday tomorrow!
I thought that I had already had my present ( the leather jacket) so I am doing well!
We are meeting up with our daughter (and baby) tomorrow, for lunch at our local Indian restaurant - so I shall have a nice day to which to look forward!

We have been celebrating our daughter's partner's 40th this weekend - the actual day was today, but the celebration started last Friday.

No, the leather jacket is black - my Nubucks are brown!
Besides , the jacket is a "smart" one - certainly not intended for dog -walking!
(I do sometimes appear smartly dressed! I am not always in jeans and walking boots!)
Why didn't you buy the print of the bluebell wood, if you liked it?
Was it by a well- known artist?

It was from a photograph, I think.
I was just having a browse.
Did not buy anything.
I had not been in the store before.
It is Home Bargains.
There used to be a Tesco there, but it closed years ago.
