Good Morning, Rusty!
Damp and mild this morning. How is it with you? Did you have the forecasted snow? Are your pavements slippy?
Bridgedale socks are hiking socks, aren't they? Mine are Coolmax, the idea being, I think to keep your feet 'cool' in summer, despite the padding on the socks.
They and my Nubucks are wonderful when out walking the dog over the fields and through the woods!
We had trouble getting to the park this morning.... there had obviously been an "incident" along the road we usually drive. The police had taped up the area with their blue and white tape, but hadn't had the good sense to notify drivers, by way of a notice, that the road was closed in the middle!
So motorists were driving along, not being able to see the tape from either end of the (long) road, and then getting stuck in the middle - unable to turn because of the bottleneck.
Just what you need before 8am!
No idea what was the problem...might find out when the local paper comes out!

I was at the Tate Britain myself only the other week. I think the café has been revamped- I don't remember its being like that on previous visits? And they provide hot food too.
The restaurant there looks very 'swish', but the prices unfortunately correspond to that!
We went to the café as the cheaper option!
