This is very difficult, as what I'me trying to show you isn't showing.

"< b >" turns bold on

"< /b >" turn it off.

Leave out the spaces I've put in, and use " [ " instead of " < " etc.

That's more like it. Most sites would use " < ", but this one uses " [ ".

I have a book somewhere and she is in it.
The book is No News from Throat Lake.
Throat Lake is English for Creeslough, in Donegal.
The man who wrote it lived in Creeslough and wrote for the Donegal Democrat newspaper. He said Meryl was a lovely person. He met her there, in Glenties, I think it was. And if I am correct, the film's World premiere was in Glenties.
Not certain, though.
I think my weather is due to improve on Wednesday.

Exclamation marks are called screamers in journalism! I went through my book and halved the number I used, and there are still too many. You can do it, Elle :-))

I went round the Houses of Parliament today, most interesting. FYI you get the same security treatment as at UK airports- luckily we were warned so I didn't lose my scissors. Afterwards I took myself off to Tate Britain and saw, among other things, Tracy Emin's disgusting bed. Art with a capital F. Nice café, though.
