I personally don't mind long chatty threads. If I see one I generally avoid it. Easy peasy! What does get me going is having to wade through the little short threadlets for the same crossword. Case in point this week's Everyman has 16 threads, some of them started by the same person. It puts me in Walter Gabriel mode..."Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear."
