Ah, thank you for sharing your memories of lovely jubbly, with us, Harrhy!
I was but a nipper in the 1950s and living in Lancashire, and I had never heard of it.
Nor have I ever watched "Only Fools and Horses".
So I was quite lost with the crossword clue!

Update, Rusty!
The window is all measured up for the new blind.
I am going with a matte white wooden one.
It will take three weeks to make.
It should look good!

Hello, Harrhy,
Thank you for the info!
I had only ever heard Del Boy using the phrase.
Perhaps the setter was a Peckham lad!

Hello, Elle.
Very good of the garage to collect and drop off your car!
You seem pleased to have your blinds sorted out.
That's fine!
I've had a quiet day.
Not sure if my son will visit this evening.
He was back at work today, although it's a holiday up here.
I'll watch the prog on the "Wild Atlantic Way" later.

Good evening, Rusty!
You will perhaps be chatting to your son right now if he is visiting you today.....
That will be nice.
And speaking of sons, I have just been talking to mine for the past hour.
He rang again to see how his dad is doing.
He sounded tired.......the hotel has been very busy over the festive period.
But this will be his last shift there, as he starts a new job on Monday.
Well, I must go sort out our dinner.....we are having curry.
I hope you enjoy the "Wild Atlantic Way"!

Hello, Elle!
My son has gone home, now.
Had a nice chat!
And your son has a new job.
Very good!
I'll leave "Wild Atlantic Way" for another day, now.
Have a couple of things to do, for tomorrow.

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, my son has a degree in hospitality and hotel management, and has recently been head-hunted to work at one of the larger London hotels.
He is greatly looking forward to this.
He works hard; co-ordinating work, and having his daughter to stay with him whenever possible.
Otherwise, she lives with her mum and younger half -brother.
The curry was very good!

Hello, Elle!
Your son is doing very well for himself!
You must be very proud of him!
Long time since I had a curry.
I tend to avoid spicy food.
Now I told you about the girl on the ceilidh show, who was a great choirmistress, singer, and dancer.
Her name is Joy Dunlop, here she is doing her day job!

Good morning, Rusty!
A drizzly, mildish morning here!
Very muddy underfoot in the fields, as it rained hard all night.
Yes, our son is doing very well now, having rung the changes somewhat, for a time, throughout his career.
He started off , after Uni, in hotel management.
Then he worked ( in a vaguely similar capacity) on a cruise ship; liked the idea of being at sea, so joined the Merchant Navy.
He did that for a few years and then decided to come back on land, and continue his career in hotel management!
He seems well settled in this now, and has worked at a few well -known hotels.
I watched your clip abut Joy Dunlop, "doing" the weather!
A very versatile young lady by all accounts!
What are you up to, today?

Good morning, Elle!
Lovely day here, and the wind has dropped!
I have been out most of the morning, but home now.
Had a couple of wee tasks to perform.
My grandson is calling after work today!
Your son has done very well, including being in the Merchant Navy!
I don't know where Joy gets the hours in the day!
She is a singer, has just released a CD (in Gaelic), she's in a band, she is a choirmistress, an excellent step dancer, she does the weather on BBC Alba, in Gaelic, and on BBC Scotland, in English, and is on the radio, too!
Quite a few arrows to her bow!
