Good morning, Rusty!
It is another wet one here.
Dog and I have ventured only as far as the garden so far......walking in the rain is one thing...in a torrential downpour quite another.
And how are you feeling this morning?
I hope you feel fit enough to go to your son's....but don't risk it if you still feel "under the weather".
My husband is improving slightly, I think...but he has given us all quite a scare.
He's been "sitting" on symptoms, and not telling me or his GP.
Right, coffee and the Everyman......and then the morning's tasks!

Good morning, Elle!
Fine morning here.
I stayed home, not firing on all cylinders quite yet, but I'll be fine!
That is good news about your husband improving.
Long may it continue!
Good luck with your puzzle!

Hi, Rusty!
It is good to know that you are improving, if not yet cured!
Another 24 hours should hopefully make a big difference to you.
Yes, my husband is feeling a little better, thank you.......
But I don't know whether or not he will be fit enough to go to our daughter's for Christmas Day lunch....it is quite a drive......
However, we have another couple of days yet, so can decide nearer the time.
Having mentioned my daughter...she and the boys are coming over this afternoon, just for a brief visit, to check on Dad/ Gramps!
Yes, I finished the Everyman ages ago....unfortunately it is another far too easy one.....the setter is slipping back into his/ her mode of earlier days!
Disappointing!

Good evening, Elle!
Has your daughter called?
A pity about Everyman.
Folk seemed to approve of it lately, too?
There are some popular musicals on SkyArts channel tonight.
Les Miserables, Cats, Billy Elliot, and Miss Saigon.
Quite a line-up!
Apparently Miss Saigon is based on Madame Butterfly.
Did not know that.

Good evening, Rusty!
Yes, my daughter, BB and YB were here earlier.
It was lovely to see them.
They just stayed for about two hours, as my husband was obviously tiring.
He has gone to lie down for a couple of hours before eating dinner....and taking another antibiotic tablet.
What a selection of musicals from which to choose!
Are you intending to watch one?
If so...which?
Btw, did you ever watch "La La Land"?

Hello, Elle!
It would cheer your husband up seeing his family, I'm sure!
No musicals for me, but it seems to be a good night for those who would enjoy them.
There is some good stuff on SkyArts in the next few days, though.
My granddaughters took La La Land away one afternoon and it never returned!
I have just had a nasty clatter.
Tripped over a lurking vacuum cleaner and sprawled my length on the floor.
All seems well though!

Hi, Rusty!
Oh dear! I am thankful that you are not hurt......despite your vacuum cleaner's loitering with intent to injure!
At least you are aware that you tripped, and didn't have a dizzy turn, which would be worrying.
But it is a "shock" when we fall when we are older...so take it easy.
You may feel a tad bruised tomorrow!
Considering that your granddaughters gave "La La Land" to you in the first place, it is a bit rich their waltzing off with it!
Perhaps you could "borrow" it back?!

Hello, Elle!
In this particular room there are only two things.
A tumbly dryer and a vacuum cleaner.
I went in to use the tumbly dryer and went sailing rather inelegantly over the vacuum cleaner which had strayed from its usual place after I used it last.
I feel perfectly fine apart from a slight carpet burn on my knee, but I may well have aches in the morning....which may take my mind off my bug!
I'll let the girls have "La La Land", I think.
It's more "them" than "me"!

Good morning, Rusty!
We have a dry and cold day here - with the promise of sunshine.
A much better outlook than the warm and wet weather of late.
A friend very kindly gave me a lift to and from the park this morning, whilst my husband is out of action and cannot drop me there.
That thankfully saved me an additional couple of miles added to my walk!
How are you feeling this morning?
Both from the bug and your recent encounter with the floor?
I hope you are not too stiff and bruised.
Have you been able to re-schedule your visit to see your elder son and family?
I now have a few more presents to wrap.....and then I think my Christmas preparations are more-or-less complete!

Good afternoon, Elle!
Fine day here, not too cold.
No aches from my clatter, but GP has changed my antibiotic.
So fingers crossed for a good result.
Not thought any more about visiting.
My grandson is coming to see me later.
That'll be good!
