Hello, Elle!
I think it is slightly less cold here, now.
Yes, Mikaela was very good.
I have investigated Lake Louise and it looks beautiful there, and it is minus 18C just now !
That's colder than I have ever experienced.
I am looking forward to the racing there!
Will your dentist seal the tooth, or fill it, do you think?

Hi, Rusty!
I think Lake Louise is in Banff?
In Calgary, where my friend lives, the temperature with wind chill factor added in, is sometimes as low as minus 30C.
They don't go outside!
Unfortunately, my tooth is already filled...but it is a bit of tooth itself, not filling, that has broken off.
I don't know what the dentist will do?
I am lucky in that I only have a few fillings...I've no previous experience as to what might happen in this situation?
What do you mean by "seal" the tooth?

Hello, Elle!
I believe Lake Louise is in Banff, yes.
Sealing a tooth means coating it with plastic finish to prevent decay.
A liquid is painted on to the tooth.
But, don't be listening to me.
Heed your dentist.
He/she may smooth it off, or fill it.
There will be several options for you, I think.

Hi, Rusty!
I've never come across tooth sealant before......I suppose just because it has never been necessary.
As soon as I know which day, and what time , our GP surgery meeting is (which takes priority at the moment) I will make an appointment with my dentist.
She is very good, and I am sure will sort out my tooth.
My timing is terrible!
I have only just been for my six monthly check up, and was given the "all clear"!

Good morning, Rusty!
It is an absolutely glorious day here!
Bitterly cold; "1C but will feel like minus 2C", according to the BBC local forecast.
But cold and dry - with blue sky and sunshine thrown in - is fine with me.
And a hard frost equals clean dog!
It is our Wedding Anniversary today!
We have been married for 47 years.
I am just going to print out the crossword......
I have a coffee beside me in readiness!

Good morning, Elle!
Much milder here today,
No frost!
Just home.
Got quite a few of my wee chores completed!
But have another couple to go out and do.
Firstly, a coffee, before I'll fly away.
I think the dental sealant is mainly for young ones.
But I don't know what treatment you may be offered.
I think it will be an easy fix, though.

Hi, Rusty!
Ah yes, the posts crossed......
Great minds and all that...!
Thank you for the Congratulations!
I have been talking to my younger daughter, who rang up with good wishes , too.
And we have had a lovely card from our son and granddaughter.
We were thinking of going out to dinner this evening to one of our favourite restaurants, to celebrate.
But it is so cold!
I am not sure of the advisability of this, considering how careful my husband needs to be.
We may wait for a slightly warmer spell, before going out in the evening air!
Still no word , by the way, from the Euro Car Parks and/or the Toby Carvery about their spurious fine!
Have you now been out to do your other few jobs ?
( I liked the reference to "I'll Fly Away"!)

Hello, Elle!
Could not you get a cab to your restaurant?
If it is the cold that is a problem, or is it the damp air?
But, you do have to prioritise your husband's health.
Or, could you get a meal delivered from a local restaurant?
There is a fish and chip shop not far from me who deliver.
Their food is excellent, too.
And there are one or two Chinese and Indian restaurants who do deliveries, too.
Do you have any like that in the vicinity?
I think the Euro Car Parks "fine" is the wrong term.
It is more of an invoice, I think.
I don't think their "fine" has any legality.
My tasks are over for tòday, more tomorrow.
You have athletics on Red Button on Sunday.
European Cross Country Championships from Lisbon.

Good afternoon, Rusty!
Yes, I have been thinking along those lines....
We have an excellent Chinese TakeAway that delivers.
I think we shall possibly go with that option.
It is not quite the same as "going out", but would be more sensible.
And we shall probably have a family lunch out, next weekend, as well.
We would have done so yesterday, as being nearer the date, but YB has a chest infection.
Yes, I think you are correct in your description of the ECP situation......
Because the car park is on private land, the ECP have no legal "rights", and would have to take the matter to court to pursue their money.
But whatever they choose to call it, we are not paying!
Oh, that is great about the Athletics at the weekend!
The Red Button is usually 601, so I should be able to record it.
I shall look forward to watching that!
