Good evening, Rusty!
Oh, the girls have just over a fortnight , then, before their holiday!
I think my younger daughter and family are going back to the Netherlands again .....but it will be in August, I'm presuming, as the children will be at school until nearly the end of July.
I am supposed to know this, because of looking after their cat....but forgot to write it down!
I must check..... and then put it on my calendar!
I could not open that link to the poem, Rusty?
A message came up saying (I quote) "You'll need a new app to open this rtsp" ?
But I've no idea what it meant?

Hello, Pigale!
Yes , doing nothing in the heat but sit beneath a fan, sounds a good idea!
But I appreciate that you had to stock up with food for when your friend arrives.
Just to make you envious...we have a lovely cool evening here!

Hello, Elle!
Och, that's a pity about the link.
It was very good, I thought.
No idea what the message meant.
Maybe you could try this.

Type "The Road Not Taken" in your Google search box.
Then select "Video" from the choices at the top of the page.
It is the third video from the top.

Hope this works.
That's the way it works on my Chromebook.
A pity you do not have the YouTube website.
Dead easy there!

Hi, Rusty!
I did exactly as you instructed ......but when I clicked on the video, I ended up with precisely the same message coming up on my screen!
I have looked up "rtsp" and apparently it means the "Real Time Streaming Protocol" and is (quote) "a network control protocol designed for use in entertainment and communications systems to control streaming media servers"
I am no wiser?
I think I shall have to forego hearing the poem!
I could not find out what happened to the advertised tennis transmission?
But I see from the computer that Kyle Edmund lost his match.
The Women's Singles Final is tomorrow...Angie Kerber v. Karolina Pliskova.
It should be a good match!

Elle, I too was disappointed about the tennis - or lack of tennis! I think the issue might be screening rights - we've had the women's matches all week, but not the men's. Maybe their matches were sold to Eurosport or Sky? The women's semis today were disappointing in themselves - one match pulled because of an injury and the other one was a very one-sided affair, over very quickly.

Hello, Elle!
That's odd about the link.
I have not heard of this before.
It works perfectly on my Chromebook.
A pity, for it was a very good little video and the man spoke the lines differently from what I imagined.
You'll just have to download YouTube!
The tennis is a mystery wherever it went!
I am looking forward to the Diamond League on Sunday evening on EuroSport.
Coming from Eugene, Oregon, the home of Nike!
Laura Muir is taking part, I think.

Hello, Malone!
Yes, you are right about the Eastbourne tennis coverage.
I have just googled it, and apparently the BBC does not have the rights to show the men's tennis...only the women's matches
I could not find out any further detaiis though.
Hopefully tomorrow's match between Angie Kerber and Karolina Pliskova will be a worthy Final!

Hi, Rusty!
It appears that the BBC does not have the rights to show the men's tennis but only the women's matches
Sexist or what?!
I am looking forward, though, to watching the Final between Angie Kerber and Karolina Pliskova tomorrow!
Hopefully it will be a worthy match!
You have the Eugene Diamond League showing on Sunday evening?
I only get to watch the Highlights - which are always very poor! - and not until Monday morning at 9am on BBC2.
And I shall be out with the dog at that time.......and will have to record the programme.
Grrrh!

Hello, Elle!
Well, BBC must have agreed with Eastbourne or whoever?
And talking of sexist....!
I have been looking at the programme at Eugene, and it is a bit odd, to me, anyway.
There is a women's high jump, but no long jump.
And no high jump, or long jump, for the men!
Young Miss Muir is in the 1500 metres, and Dina Asher-Smith is in the 200 metres, as is Dafne Schippers.
There is also the women's high school 100 metres and the men's high school 100 metres!
What kind of Diamond League is this!

Hi, Rusty!
I agree.......that does sound a tad strange?
I wonder what has happened to the usual listing of events?
And I have never heard of a "high school" race in the DL?
I am not enjoying the BBC highlights anyway...they are very badly designed.
It is all far too rushed in order to fit it into a one hour time slot.....
For instance, we rarely find out who is competing, until we are told, at the end, who has won.......and then we usually only learn the first three placings.
A very poor effort on the part of the BBC.
I used to enjoy the DLs, but now they are ruined by this rushed , far too compressed, transmission.
And I also have to wait until Monday!

Good morning, Elle!
Seems warm today!
Not been out yet.
This is the programme for "Eugene".
You will probably spot oddities and omissions, yourself.
Hope this one works!

https://eugene.diamondleague.com/program-results-eugene/

Now, the thing is.....it is not being held at Eugene, Oregon!
They have moved the meeting to Stanford, California.
The track at Eugene is being overhauled, before the US Olympic trials are held there, and the World Championships in 2021, I think it is.
Hope someone has told the BBC!
I am just heading out to the shop for my paper, etc.
So..."step we gaily...!"
