Hello, Elle!
It is breezy here, too.
I had a call earlier from the garage.
It will be ready later today, I hope.
I've finished the puzzle.
I liked 14a!
And in 26a, I knew the North London landmark as there used to be racing there.
Otherwise, I would not have got it!

I hesitate to intrude on your Outlook problems but I used to use it and seem to remember the apparent disappearance of folders. It was solved by one click but I can’t remember which!
Following on from Rusty’s suggestion, why not take your screen shot to a computer repair shop and, when they see it, they may be able to offer a solution. I don’t think they would charge for that.

Hello, Kenyatta.
I think that suggestion from you is a very good idea, and one that I would try, if in a similar position.
I do not think a repair shop would charge for a piece of advice.
Certainly the one I have went to on several occasions, did not want paid when I offered to.

Hi, Rusty!
Oh, that is good news about your car.
Did the mechanic say what had been wrong?
I have finished my crossword ...bar the parsing of 4d: New- found, but I shall give that more thought later on.....
I thought it a relatively easy puzzle today?
I liked 6a: julep
I did not previously know the word, but it was easy to work out!
Nor did I know Diaghilev, so I have learned two new things today!
Ah, the Ally Pally! Yes, I used to live near there in Crouch End.
How did you like the other London one...."4a: RA in Bow"?
Did I hear a gnashing of teeth at the "Londonisms"?

Hello, Kenyatta!
Of course You are not intruding - it is kind of you to offer a suggestion.

Hello, Elle!
No idea what is wrong with my car.
The machine they use for testing is defective and they had to wait for a part for it.
Testing my car now.
4d is a very good one!
I had heard of Diaghilev.
They used to race at Ally Pally!
"RA in Bow" has been used before.
No, I do not like the Londonisms.
I had heard of Bow, but would non-Londoners know of Ally Pally?
I doubt it.
I only knew the name through horse racing there.

Good afternoon, Rusty!
It is very many years now since I last visited Ally Pally!
We moved south over the river shortly after we were married, and have lived this side of the Thames ever since.
I misunderstood about your car... I had thought when you said that it would be ready later , that they already knew the cause of the problem.
I hope is soon sorted.....and will not prove too expensive.

Now....there have been some weird developments with Outlook.....
The five icons that replaced the list of "boxes", originally led to nowhere......but now seem to have been activated, and if I click on the paperclip icon representing attachments, I now see a list of my missing folders!
It is a mystery as to why they are there?
All are EMPTY of their previous contents, and inside each is a heading stating for "Attachments"?
I give up....... I cannot cope with this any longer!

The carrier pigeons are arriving next week.......we shall build hutches.........

I am going out for a long walk!!!!

Good afternoon, Elle!
Yes, they know the problem, but are trying to determine the cause, with a testing machine, which takes time.
I don't think it will be expensive....I hope!
I think you are making progress with your Outlook.
Are these folders "personal" ones?
Ones with "titles" that you have created?
Try a switch off-on again, and a refresh?
May help.
Is there anything in "Attachments"?
Could they be your "sub folders"?
I would update Outlook about this development.
It could help pinpoint the problem.
Heard Simona Halep is out of Roland Garros.
Could be good news for Jo Konta.

Hi, Rusty!
Home again!
It has been a lovely afternoon.
The lull before the storm.......I think we are forecast gale force winds and heavy rain for all day tomorrow.
Re Outlook...the boxes are Outlook's official ones...but do not seem to be in operation.
The Junk, Sent , and Deleted Items boxes are all empty.
They were found under the "new" paper clip icon.
They have no emails in them.....according to the "labelling", they seem to be there solely for the purpose of receiving attachments
God knows why!
I have shot my bolt...I wash my hands of the situation.....….and any other appropriate idioms that you can think of!
Yes, the prospect sounds good for Jo!
Is your son coming round?

Hello, Elle!
Fine afternoon here.
There are several articles in Google about missing files and folders on Outlook and how to recover them.
Often with a simple click.
I have the golf on my TV.
The Canadian Open in Ontario.
Quite a few Canadian World War 2 bombers have just flown over the course and the players all stopped to watch.
Wonder if they had taken part in the D Day celebrations in France?
I think my son will be here soon.
No car until tomorrow, now!
