Hi, Rusty!
The crossword didn't get finished because I fell asleep!
I am what I might call "happily exhausted"!
A quiet Boxing Day planned for tomorrow......
How about you? Any plans?
I am away to my bed, whilst I still have the energy to get there!
It is pouring with rain, now, and feeling very chilly!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, Christmas can be tiring!
I have no plans for tomorrow, just to get my paper, then play it by ear.
No rain or snow here, so far.
Hope it stays that way.

Good Morning, Rusty!
It is a lovely morning here!
We have blue sky and sunshine!
Great out, though very cold today.
I have discovered that there were TWO Everyman crosswords on Sunday!
The "usual" one - plus the Jumbo.
I do not think the former was online when I looked...but I have tracked it down now!
So...another Everyman to do today!
An extra belated Christmas present!
Have you been out for your paper?
I wasn't sure whether there would be one today?

Good morning, Elle!
Fine day here, and no snow!
I have not been for a paper today.
Will wait until tomorrow.
I have done my puzzle online today.
Quite a good one.

Hi, Rusty!
My daughter has just phoned - she is in Bluewater Shopping Centre at the Sales!
Bluewater is a large shopping and retail centre in Stone in Kent.
It is not all that far from where she lives, so an easy matter for her to get there.
But she must be mad!!1
Wild horses wouldn't drag me to the Sales on Boxing Day!
A couple of quiet walks with the dog will do me fine!
Meanwhile, I shall settle down with the (second) Everyman crossword that I have unearthed........
You were quick off the mark doing your puzzle today!

Hello, Elle!
I have heard of Bluewater!
Yes, she is certainly mad!
I would not be at the sales.
If ASDA does not have what I need, there is always Amazon!
I did my puzzle early because ASDA did not open until nine.
I normally go earlier than that.
So, I did my puzzle on line.
The Times puts it online a minute or two after midnight.

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, I am sure I will have mentioned Bluewater to you before.
It seems to be a very popular shopping centre - possibly because it provides free parking?
It is just fifteen minutes down the A2 for my daughter, but not an easy car journey for us as we live much further away.
I found the Everyman disappointingly easy....maybe a "sop" because it was Christmas?
While I am on a roll, I shall take a look at the Times Cryptic......that will probably bring me back to earth with a bump!

Update, Rusty!
I have finished the Times Cryptic 15 x15...... bar one I couldn't do ....one I would query the (strict) definition...and one where I am unsure if the word really exists!
Here goes, if you can help, please......
18a: Washers the wrong way round in gun (3-3)
?O?-P?M
No ideas here.
23a: Very simple thing for bird to catch worms, ultimately (7)
protist = I wouldn't say that this is strictly a "very simple thing"?
"protist" is the singular of "protista", which are single cell organisms, but not the most uncomplicated ones.
And regarding 9d....is there REALLY such a word as "unflappability"?
Otherwise , all OK, I hope!
I am now about to go out for a walk with the dog - still lovely sunshine, so shall make the most of it!

Elle, 'unflappability' is listed in Chambers. Protist is defined there as 'any member of the Protista', so that's fine too!
