On the endgame it is worth noting that some versions of ODQ have the right quotation and some don't, I mention this as it held me up for ages and was more than a little frustrating. Probably a good idea to check the quote on the Internet if you think you have it but can't quite get it to work.

Filled the grid and found the missing words, which seem to fall into two groups. An earlier hint suggested synonyms, but I've tried several to no avail. I assume the title has some relevance, but looking at the letters in any of the likely strings doesn't seem to help.

Yes, cockie, I'm in a similar position. One set of (near) synonyms for pine/crave and another for suppose, but I've now reached a dead-end.

Same here. Some thoughts. All the words have been lost. As the words can come in different orders in some books I wonder if we are dealing with a translation? Also wonder if fire is passion or love which would tie it to valentines day. Help please.
