Yes, Doglet, I thought I'd read somewhere that long-sight can be a later result of the RK treatment. Does m/d stand for macular degeneration? - my Dad had that, but I don't recall there being any treatment for it at the time? he certainly wasn't taking any medication for it - maybe it's a new (er) development; this was some years ago now.
Glad to hear you are able to read well now.

That's great news, doglet - far too late a development for my dad - he died ten years ago now. But I have a friend who suffers from the same condition - she hasn't been offered any treatment(?) so I will mention your pills to her, and she can look into that. Thanks.
We' e all suffering from the advancing years in some form or another!

Well, me and my advancing years have just been out for a walk. A wee bit brisk exercise is good for the old bones, though I still think I am 22!

Morning, rusty! You are as young as you feel!
I've just finished the Times Jumbo Gen knowledge crossword, and we are now about to follow your example and go out for a walk!

Aye, a fine day for a walk, Elle!
A tad chilly for going behind a waterfall, though!
