Please withhold solutions till 5 pm (GMT) to allow others to have a go.

'Afternoon Rossim and Chrise. Nice to see you both. I wonder if you are experiencing the subject of my "Norah (admin)" thread. I understand about the ads (they're necessary) but this latest is very annoying.

I'm using Chrome, and I don't have that problem.

I'm on IE and not having any more problems with ads than usual. The 'win a freeview tv' is a bit of a pain as it covers the whole screen but it is easily cancelled. I also keep my sound turned off unless I'm using it.

Thanks guys.
I'm using Chrome too.
As I write this, I've dragged my cursor over the task bar. At any point, I get "the sound" as a prelude to the "Win a Freeview" ad opening. Unless one is very quick the full-oager opens.

Thanks for the challenge Jolan

I had the same problem as you're experiencing with the anchorman adverts. This one not as bad. The tool bar advert has a cross on the left hand side and i found that if i click on it once or twice when the ad appears it stops!

Cheers again
