Nice clues, Jolan. I must say, however, that I think that containers shouldn't extend beyond the words the answer is hidden in, and that no word should be unnecessary.

I'm inclined to agree with you two.

I never really gave any thought to the length of this type of clue (hidden). As a rule I don't like them because, unless you are really an expert, it's difficult to hide the answers and they're to easy. Hence my "essay" around today's. Difficult to spot though, wasn't it?

Methinks I'll avoid "hiddens" in future.
