Now that is em strange..... passed through many moons ago and the name stuck in my head.
No doubt there is some form of plaque there now to commemorate its famous son?

In fact I work there. Are you a dog lover? The Swedish director Lasse Hallstrom made a movie there several years ago. If you can watch it without crying you have a heart of stone.

Hi again imagcq,
I was at a funeral yesterday and the afters went on until midnight and by then I was in no state (mental or otherwise) to attempt your clues.
Just managed to complete and I confess I was on the wrong track with #1 for a long time. I was attempting to somehow work PR and enunciate into appreciate. Great set of clues. Cheers.
Not long to "opening time" now, thankfully!

Only just got on the site Ginge,thanks for looking back in. And i am glad you enjoyed the clues.
I hope you had a pleasant hairy dog (i am asumming thats what you meant about opening!) and are feeling a little more with it.
