This is a really hard one.

I've cold solved about half the clues, but am nowhere near being able to start putting them in the grid, I don't think.

Can anyone help with these two 13 letter ones?

Flies helicopters, carrying ambassador from London to Brussels, eg? (13)

Brawlers on the way out, quietly leaving pub, hole torn in pants (13)

Hello Demeter. I'm not sure whether it's worth spending time on this one - the setter seems to have put in too many tough clues! Life's too short.
By the way, I have all four 13 letter answers. Flies helicopters..... is a common word for helicopters around HE ESE. The other one is an anagram of UB HOLE inside a word for "pants".
Can anyone help with the two ten letter answers -
Yank immersed in comics - not at the front, soldier.
Nurse is left short, developing rage.

Demeter - beware there are two clashes when you place the thirteen letter answers.

Finally completed this one, but I'm still unsure of the wordplay of a couple.

Am I right in thinking that there is no clash in the penultimate column?

(Clearly, this is not a problem, in that a unique solution doesn't require a clash there)

I have 3 of the 13 letter answers. Can anyone help with the other one, please?
Informal yoga pose - Saul can make it with a bit of effort.

It's an anagram of yoga, pose, Saul and a letter from effort which means informal and is not really a single word.
I've got all 13 letter words and both 10 letter words and have placed them on the crossword but am still absolutely nowhere near solving this one. Far too much cold solving for my taste.

Never mind. I think even if I got it, this puzzle is too tough for me.
