Has anyone else finished it, and has found that one column (the Q one) has no clash?

I'm struggling to see how JASP is the answer to
Japanese clasps showing originally 16th century stone. (I can see J = Japanese and the definition)
Also can I have a lead on these two -
In Idaho, slash netting, getting fine (8)
Ruddy woman's garment getting caught (5)

Thanks

BLOWZE = sounds like BLOUSE, getting caught, i.e. heard, as in "did you catch that?"
