Hello jonel 79 does start with a silent P, but a better clue might be to look in the index of Old Testament Books and follow what the Question says.
I am stuck on my last one question 5 can you give me a helpful clue so that I can complete the Quiz. Sorry I took so long to reply but I had to re enter my data.

Thank you Harbinger, I was unhappy with my previous guess which was two four letter words (instead of one 8 letter word) for the maximum TV viewing period, even though the Cambers definition matched the clue.
Thank you also to all the other people who gave clues, many of which I found helpful.

Please can someone give a clue to 43 and 48. I must be missing something cos everyone else seems to have solved these two! I have an answer to 38 but am not completely happy as I can't get a connection to "especially when on the hoof" Any hints would be most welcome.

48. Anagram 2nd 3rd and 4th words.
38. What do you call a person who gives up easily. The answer is a sore on a horses hoof.

Thanks Winnie, I had looked at the seven hills of Rome but didn't find one with 9 letters - I'll go back and re-count! I'm sure I can finish now - they are my last three. Thanks again.
