Hi Winnie
I'm still searching for 73. Head soprano vaguely unwell on the seafront. (7)
I think it must begin with a P but getting nowhere.
Please can you or anyone else help.

The answer begins with S. Head refers to Head of a school - try Nicholas Nickleby.

Thanks Winnie. I did think of that answer but that leaves me with 51 Qs and only 49 Ps. And I can't see which other Q is wrong. Back to the sleepless nights.

Hi Betty, don't be too dismayed.Might I suggest you go back item 216 on this thread and forwards from there.
Haeremai18, janet17 and myself did alot of work on working out where I had gone wrong when I had 51 P's and 49 Q's.

Thanks for hints and help Winnie. Followed your suggestions and now have 50 of each. Whether they are right only time - and the answers will tell.

This is a simple anagram which turns out to be the name of a particular diamond.

Thanks Winnie - have tried names of well known diamonds but will keep looking.

Found it - so obv. tried rearrangements of the letters and one has produced a diamond result.
