Hello Winnie. Good to be in touch again. I agree that the forum is a good Ida and I am sure that if we didn't help each other, even less entries would submitted, so I am going to continue having a peek every so often.

Glad you agree with me re e-mailing the quiz. Will suggest it when I eventually send in my entry, completed or not (didn't get a very good mark the last time despite help!!) and can I suggest that you and anyone else who agrees, does the same.

In touch soon!

You can download the puzzle no problem. It comes out 1st September and 1st March.
What would be a good idea (says me!) is to email the completed quiz, and make donations direct to charity account. Save lots of postage.

No point having a forum like this unless people can use it - however if you need help in over half why bother?
It is very early - over 2 motnhs left to go.

Thanks Nonplussed for the actual dates the quiz comes out on. A tip for the future. Good idea too to e-mail the answers and give direct to charity but I doubt if the powers that be would like us to do that??!!

Well said mamya
I am not sure that more do it by the fact that this site will give all the answers or clues so easy they might as well be. That just turned the last one into a raffle
They lost my donation and I know they lost others as there are plenty of quizzes for the same charity that dont get asked. I dont understand why you feel that the macmillan food shouldnt be answered on here and yet answers are given to so many other good charity quizzes

Sorry if I have upset people by asking for hints ! The fact is that I am off sick, waiting for an op,and am confined to sedentary activities. Not making a "good" patient, I am decidedly impatient...

looby, not really a case of being upset - I too am largely stuck in the home , am also partially sighted and impatient is my middle name.

I suppose you could put me in the category with a few others of 'Puzzle Zealot', I do 20+ per month, so always something to have a go at - some are quick coffee break types and others require more deliberation.

Nothing I say will change the way this site works and how people answer and nor should it, but as a member just wanted to air my views.

Hi haremail - I meant pay money directly into Neville's charity account. That way they still get the credit - and we save the postage!
