Sorry, Winnie, I'm stuck on that one too-plus not finding it as easy as everyone else. It DOES however, seem more straightforward than usual. perhaps they are trying to increase entries, which are falling off, shame .... I LOVE it when this quiz arrives- is a great "waste of time" AND for a charity. I'd like to do others like this, would appreciate any info. Also on 19,,33,34,36,37,46,55,57,65,70,72,73,79,82,86,91,98,100 !!!! Also is 22 related to archery? Thanks all

I have to say I am most disappointed to see this happening once more - with a closing date of 30th November there is ages till anyone should be tearing their hair out.

My copy came with a note to say returned sheets are falling and they wonder what the reason is ....could it be that each time huge swathes of clues are asked (albeit for extra clues) which get easier and easier until an answer is obvious.

I urge everyone to keep at it and not let it spoil again.

Hi LoobyLooby. Like you I don't fid it particularly easy. Got about 25 so far without any help and intend to persevere for a bit longer before I ask for help. Time will tell. Have been thinking about why numbers are falling? Perhaps it is something to do with the cost of postage as by the time you send your entry in plus SAEs for return of marked answers and next quiz, that is £1.50 down the drain. I know that you can download the quiz on line but perhaps we could have the option of being e-mailed to advise when it is released. What do others think?

Hi Haeremai18, mamya and Loobylooby - if I could join in the debate please, I think the suggestion of receiving the Quiz by email is an excellent idea. I belong to another association that regularly emails several hundred members at the same time - so it is possible.
Re seeking extra clues on this forum, I would have thought it would improve the number of replies as more people would be able to complete (or nearly complete) and so want to send back their contributions. I find it very friendly to help each other
though I do think LoobyLooby might try a bit longer as she has such a long list.
Frankly except for a few 'difficult' questions, this quiz is much easier than past ones and I'm wondering if the author is Neville Mizen this time as there are alot of 'types' of questions missing ( ie. finding a word within the sentence) Just my thoughts.

Hello Winnie. Good to be in touch again. I agree that the forum is a good Ida and I am sure that if we didn't help each other, even less entries would submitted, so I am going to continue having a peek every so often.

Glad you agree with me re e-mailing the quiz. Will suggest it when I eventually send in my entry, completed or not (didn't get a very good mark the last time despite help!!) and can I suggest that you and anyone else who agrees, does the same.

In touch soon!

You can download the puzzle no problem. It comes out 1st September and 1st March.
What would be a good idea (says me!) is to email the completed quiz, and make donations direct to charity account. Save lots of postage.

No point having a forum like this unless people can use it - however if you need help in over half why bother?
It is very early - over 2 motnhs left to go.

Thanks Nonplussed for the actual dates the quiz comes out on. A tip for the future. Good idea too to e-mail the answers and give direct to charity but I doubt if the powers that be would like us to do that??!!

Well said mamya
I am not sure that more do it by the fact that this site will give all the answers or clues so easy they might as well be. That just turned the last one into a raffle
They lost my donation and I know they lost others as there are plenty of quizzes for the same charity that dont get asked. I dont understand why you feel that the macmillan food shouldnt be answered on here and yet answers are given to so many other good charity quizzes
