Yes I had the french for 14 but could not get the 4 kings reference but since then I have found it. I think people have said that young man is lad. Put that in a rather extreme word for distress and you are there. 87 is presumably an anagram of ss and the bird for colin. Therefore I cannot see where the well known deck game comes in? What has that got to do with a colin?

No 87 is an anagram of SS and look up a different word for cushat which is another word for a wood pigeon beginning with Q. Hope that makes sense. Still can't work out no. 71 despite all your clues. Does the word for distress begin with a P? Apart from actually telling me the answer I don't know how else I can work it out?!

Yes the word begins with p. Cannot believe I was so stupid as not to get 87! Just need to confirm 47 is a dog breed beginning with p and then that's it. Any help?

Hi Felicty re 47.
Think of a familiar 5 letter name for a dog and the chemical symbol for Lead . The whole thing adds up to another meaning of 'saw'
Hopes this helps.

Hi Winnie. Re your clue for Felicity for no. 47, a familiar word for dog is p---h and I know the chemical symbol for lead but have anagrammed these letters and nothing cones up? Is the word 'saw' as in 'see' or tool for cutting down trees? Any further clues would be appreciated, please and thanks.
