Just looked it up. You're right. When I use the term I infuse it with a little more red. :)

I know there were a few question marks with some of the clues so I've put together a wordplay file to hopefully explain my reasoning. I'll post it via google drive in a few minutes.

Thanks, Les. All answers were right, but had ?s for 34a, 50a, 8d, and 58d. Still can't see how you get Oslo out of loss.

aristo, you are completely correct, how does one get Oslo from loss, well, one doesn't and I am an idiot.
When I wrote the clues, I was toying with an anagram of Solo for Oslo and wrote down 'Loss adjustment' and realised it wasn't an anagram so binned it as a bad idea, but when I came to typing them up, I must have forgot and just gone ahead with it without noticing. Oh well, I'll add it to my experiences in my learning curve.
I had 70 clues to write for this one and things must have just got mixed up with that one because I was working fast to complete it. I would say 'it won't happen again' but I guess it will some time.
Hope it gave you some enjoyment anyway.

Looks like 58D was missed in the wordplay file.

Capital (def) = OSLO
loss (fodder)
adjustment (anagrind)

Now that's what I call timing.

I thought it might be some kind of substitution thing, but am happy to see that it was just a slip. :) It's an excellent puzzle, Less. God forbid there should be a single letter missed! Stop chastising yourself. Thoroughly enjoyable.
