Clue 19 should surely read "...fixers" (plural), otherwise the solution has only 10 letters: I say this because my 4 longest then also fit together perfectly!Have contacted editor, but any confirmation would encourage me to continue! Snowy greetings from S.W. France **************************

I agree too about 19, and have also managed to get the long ones in, which gives me cause for optimism!

Oh... and greetings from NE Scotland, which is unbelievably perhaps the warmest and most snow-free place in Europe right now!

Thanks, Tony. Can you help with 13,17,23,35 or 36? I have two reading AU?NAGE? & RA?CG?? which have stumped me. Also for some reason the spaces left do not all correspond to the lengths given, even after your tip: hope I've not gone completely wrong!

greedy kite -- I think 28 has to be RASCALS, which is the only word that fits with all the words it crossed in my grid. I don't understand why, though.
