Thought I'd start a thread, as I'll surely be needing some support later.

True to Enigmatist form, I've got 8 answers in, but only parsed 50% of them. Thank goodness for the anagrams.

I think I'm missing a Special Instruction: "Across and down clues may fail to parse. Additionally some clues have no definition."
Mutter, mutter.

I have 14 so far, all parsed.
I have five of those marked as favs.

Enigmatist is one of a kind.

Completed it... I think. Can't parse a couple at all and one or two others seem dubious.

Liked 5d and 26a, though overall this was a slog. Don't envy the 225 setter who's asked to explain this puzzle!

I have a couple not yet parsed also, but overall I found this a little less difficult than past offerings from Enigmatist. I thought clueing 9d was quite an achievement, and I got a chuckle from 5d, but my COD goes to 10a. From an American even.

Well, alomost done, one to go with all crossers in.

Beautiful, with a couple of whimsical wordplay, loved both 4d and 5d.

Other likes: 11a, 13a, 14a, 21a, 22a, 24a, 27a, 19d

COD: 13a

Thanks to Enigmatist.

This means Genius probably won't be his ;-)

Well said plutocrat. For me it was a matter of solving a handful, putting aside for a while, having some help from ‘incubation-illumination’, then seeing what CED suggestions compatible with what I had so far would fit. I tip my hat to those greater minds who found the puzzle a breeze, or at least not too difficult.

Got the last one.

Hint: don't use American spelling when you have a choice.

Completed this at 1 am after a struggle, but then slept badly because I still hadn’t parsed a couple. Last one parsed (eventually) 12a which had gone in quite early on because it couldn’t be anything else, but which I stared at for ages thinking it must involve a subtraction before realising that it was more straightforward (I suppose) than that.
I’m pleased to have sorted everything out (I think - I may be wrong about a couple of parsings), but also asking myself whether the struggle was entirely worth it.
Liked the same clues as ilippu.
