Thanks, SH. I’ve been out so only just seen your hint. Visitors arriving shortly so it’ll be tomorrow before I get chance to look at it again.

Thanks SH. I really should have got that, but I got fixated on the clue providing the first two letters of the answer and then trying to make the rest of the word-play provide the balance.

Full grid, cuts done as per instructions and a reassembly done which seems to work. But inventor (of what?) so far eludes my grid staring… bear of little brain, as per usual!

Jack - The inventor of making the shape you are left with, out of a 13x13 square, by removing the piece you have removed...

A lovely, fun crossword. But the highlight for me was the appropriate labelling. Made me chuckle!

The theme is related to the Wallace–Bolyai–Gerwien theorem.

The wordplay is a six-letter word minus one letter

Relieved to have finished this one!

Sorry, Ploy, but I didn't enjoy it. As the structure doesn't match the inventor, the end game is really just a GWIT.

Really struggling with this one! Have a full grid, but with 3 answers I’m not at all confident about (8D, 13A, 25A).

Have some removed letters that aren’t the usual 4 but can’t make sense of them, and no clue about where to cut from, nor can I solve the name in the circles.

Other than that….
