Scottish word for mark (attend) round shortened keen/sharp, followed by Yard.

Ozzy at #29, your tip didn't help me get 2d, but has given me the character, film and song! Thank you.

Thanks crates I'm all done now, except don't understand 13a (only one word fits) and 38d, which I presume is thematic. So only one empty cell and I can let that go.

yeah - 13A special 1 letter in synonym for claim all new to me (only know it from westerns) but- apparantly slang for power
38D - raised (reversed) in+Italy+work on one's own 3 letters -(another Aussie word new to me) ... then thematic adjustment
