I'm in Australia just now so waited for this to come online. One read through and I have one solution in. 3d which is quite obvious but not really the parsing.

I need the two long clues but I'm finding it quite tough. I need you brainy regulars to come online for some hints. There's usually a good 20 to 30 posts by the time I come on.

Daresay a few more will fall into place second time.

I'm finding this a beast, only a little over half through. I do have one long anagram.

(6,8) down is an American government service often referred to via a 3-letter acronym.

I have that one now geeker but I'm still struggling. I'm sure I have 5d right but that leaves me with no idea what 12a can be.

12 is a real PDM once you see it. Parses as 1 inside 4, definition "a crowd" (singular form).

The 4 is "'you' in Exodus, perhaps"

OK. That's quite a bit of misdirection. Enigmatist really putting me through the mill here.

Very hard one to get through today, with some especially tricksy parsing (18dn being an example). Felt I was on the way after quickly guessing one of the long clues, but after that even the seemingly obvious (3dn) seemed cleverly concealed.

Again 1a I have what I think must be the answer but the parsing is totally elusive. I can see an expert but precious little else.

Toughest Prize in a long time. I initially gave up but resumed after seeing rocky's post.

Finally have a full grid but haven't yet parsed my LOI of 23.

Many thanks to Enigmatist, though. Some brilliant and obscure cluing peppered with several of his trademark "Wow, that wasn't *so* difficult after all" entries.

I forget my FOI and my head hurts too much to rank CODs.

Hint to the struggling: there are a couple of hiddens that may provide a starting point(s).
