Requests for help should normally include the clue itself, the number of letters in the answer, and details of any you already have. Any additional information or special instructions, common in Listener puzzles, should also be included.
Hints only, please, no answers.

The theme...
Help with the theme may also be sought here. The help given should be fairly gentle in nature, just a nudge, a pointer in the right direction. Don't give information that could spoil the puzzle for other solvers.
If anyone feels that too much of the theme has been revealed, they should contact the site administrator - Norah.evoluted@aol.com. Norah generally errs on the side of caution, so anything iffy is likely to be removed.

The Listener is a uniqque puzzle and should be treated with respect.

Think I've completed this, but not hugely confident about my three-letter words!

What!?? No deleted letters? No unclued? No additional letters spelling out a message that I still prob won't understand. No hidden message in the completed grid? :D

This is going to be really difficult isn't it?

Jbird - if you’re not confident about your three letter words then you need to think a bit more about the relationship with the three 16 letter unclueds

I may have finished, but I haven't the faintest idea what's going on.

Confident with my 4 three letter words. Have a possible three letters that seems consistent and vaguely relevant. Which probably means it isn't right.

Also have 6 unparsed answers at this point, but hopefully further thought will shed some light on those.

Will continue to ponder ..

Similar situation, Smelly. Not too happy with my fifth, but perhaps a semantic fit to the theme will drop soon.

Nice puzzle. I thought that it was going to be a GWIT, but the PDMs came fast enough to satisfy me.

I’ve completed all but 29dn, although, not having ODE, I’m not totally sure of 25ac - in my answer, I can’t make sense of the first two words of the clue.
On the bigger picture, I wonder if the three rows are self contained phrases, or parts of one single sentence?
