Thanks, have finished the grid now, think I'll call it a day at that. Already wasted far too much time on Google on this and I can't see any geometric construction linked to this feller on the internet so I'm putting this into the too obscure for me to be bothered with camp.

smellyharry - you may be all 'googled-out' - but having completed grid you can google the unclued individual + geometric construction and first entry (OMI) will show quote...Earlier someone mentioned Oxford Mail so if you then google the quote plus Oxford Mail you will see who recorded it ...
