Honestly, I have to be the world's worst multi-tasker (and I'm being generous to myself with the use of 'multi').

I'm listening to the F1 qualifying while doing this and two tasks (is listening a task Bren?) and it's obviously waaaay beyond me! 😏

Neat construction but too easy for a Listener in my opinion.

As ever, I qualify that statement by saying that I have never set a puzzle and do not expect that I ever could, to any standard at all.

Thanks to Awinger for, what I thought, was a very well constucted puzzle.

I particularly liked ingenuity behind the way a part of "the exact opposite of what they wanted" was illustrated.

Help please with 39d, Priggish people unclothed roughly (4), I believe its a normal clue.

Lumen, 39d. is 'priggish people' minus the first and last letters.

6 letter "priggish people" with "unclothed" in the usual crossword sense gives you a 4 letter word meaning "roughly" as in 'coarse.

It makes more sense if you think of rough rather than roughly, at least it did for me.
