.......and now solved 17a.

Perplexed!! If I have correctly identified the work (99.99% confident), it only has three questions, not four, and I cannot find II (aye-aye, not eleven). At least my grid is full!

Have some educated guesses, but can’t sort the wordplay from the down clues.

Lovely Puzzle (and theme is in my industry too!)

Parsing of several down clues took me some time so the event was the last thing I worked out, but lots of very satisfying PDMs along the way.

It’s all done, but I can’t make much sense of the clue to English I, or the wordplay for the description of the event, where I’m missing the extra letters for 1,2 and 10 d.
Any tips please?

I gave up on this yesterday but I have just stumbled across the finish line. I'm glad that the second instruction removed a niggling doubt in my mind.
